Developing Empowering Relationships
Experience authentic power through mutual respect
A one-day experiential workshop
No horse experience necessary
As we begin to relate to horses, we learn some amazing things – how we can clearly contribute to a relationship by honouring our companion’s strengths and recognizing our own.
Horses can be intimidating creatures. They are large and powerful, keenly aware of their environment and with a strongly developed flight response due to their place on the food chain. We are small, weak and slow compared to them, and yet we often see people directing the behaviour of horses.
Phenomenal things can happen when the strength and power of a horse can be directed and influenced by the thoughts, emotions and energy of a human. This happens most brilliantly when the handler has earned the trust and respect of the horse. Combining and honouring the talents of each leads to a much greater result than either could achieve alone.
Becoming clear on our own emotions helps us to become a leader that has earned the trust of those we are in any relationship with. Honouring the perspectives of others helps build the relationships that feed our souls. The lessons we learn from these experiences relating to the horses are directly applicable to our relationships with humans, too.
Come play with us and grow your relational skills. You CAN do it, too!
Maximum of 12 participants. COST: $95 plus GST.

WE Book Club
Hello Everyone
We had a beautiful evening for our drive out to Shane’s in High River. Many thanks to our chauffeur’s Vera and Audrey. We had a great evening discussing Denmark while feasting on a Danish smorgasbord and sipping on Akvait! A big thank you to Shane for hosting and providing such wonderful snacks. Denmark turned out to have a fairly peaceful past with an emphasis on the equality of it’s people, which was a nice change from many other countries we have visited.
We will take a break for the summer and resume in September, when we will be off to Austria, the birthplaces of Mozart, Adolf Hitler and Arnold Schwarzenegger! Wow, that should give us some interesting reading!
Enjoy your summer and . . . . we’ll see you in September!
